For your home
House numbers, name plaques, and decorative wall pieces that make your front door or hallway feel considered. Solid brass that develops character over years, not months.
Reception signage, suite numbers, wayfinding, and branded plaques for offices, studios, and retail. Hardware that signals quality before you open the door.
Hotels, restaurants, and members clubs. Room numbers, door plaques, menu boards, and decorative wall signage. We handle multi-room projects with consistent finishes.
Most signage companies use thin steel or aluminium with a brass-coloured coating. It looks right on day one. Within a year, edges chip, moisture gets underneath, and the finish degrades. We start with 5mm solid brass because the material itself is the finish. Nothing to peel, nothing to chip, nothing to degrade.
Solid brass develops a living patina over time. It responds to its environment. Coastal air, city pollution, sunlight, and touch all contribute to a surface that becomes more characterful with age. If you prefer a consistent look, our lacquered finishes slow the patina process. Either way, the material is permanent.

Kind words
What clients say after the unboxing.
“The house numbers are absolutely stunning. Solid, weighty, and the satin brass finish is exactly what we wanted. Our neighbours have already asked where they came from.”
Catherine R.
Homeowner, Richmond
“I specified meraki. brass signage for a boutique hotel project in Shoreditch. Forty-two room numbers, reception signage, and wayfinding plaques, all delivered on time with a flawless finish. The client was thrilled.”
Tom H.

“We had a bespoke name plaque made for our front door and the quality is in a different league. You can feel the weight of the brass. It looks better now than the day it arrived, the patina is beautiful.”

Good questions
Everything you’re probably wondering.
Pricing & ordering
How much does custom brass signage cost?
Every project is priced individually because size, complexity, finish, and quantity all affect the cost. We provide a detailed, itemised quote within 48 hours of receiving your brief, with no obligation to proceed. Submit the form above and we will get back to you with exact pricing for your project.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order. We are just as happy making a single house number as we are producing a full signage package for a hotel. Every project receives the same level of care and attention to detail regardless of size.
Do you offer trade or volume discounts?
Yes. If you are an interior designer, architect, or purchasing for a commercial project, we offer preferential pricing on signage commissions. Mention your trade status in the brief form and we will apply the appropriate pricing to your quote. For large volume orders (20+ pieces), additional discounts are applied automatically.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer, credit and debit cards, and PayPal. For larger projects we offer a 50/50 payment plan: half on approval of the design proof, and the balance before dispatch. For hospitality or commercial projects, we can discuss tailored payment terms.
Material & quality
Why solid brass instead of plated steel or aluminium?
Plated finishes are a surface coating applied to a cheaper base metal. Over time, the coating chips, peels, and corrodes, especially in outdoor environments. Solid brass is the same material all the way through. There is nothing to chip or peel. It is naturally corrosion-resistant, antimicrobial, and develops a beautiful patina with age. Our signage is laser-cut from 5mm solid brass sheet, giving it a substantial weight and feel that plated alternatives simply cannot match.
Will my brass signage tarnish or change colour?
Solid brass naturally develops a patina over time, which is part of its character. The speed and nature of the patina depend on the environment: coastal air accelerates it, sheltered indoor locations slow it. Our satin brass and antique brass finishes are lacquered to slow the patina process significantly. If you prefer a living finish that evolves over the years, our unlacquered options are ideal. Both options are beautiful; it is simply a matter of preference.
Is brass signage suitable for outdoor use?
Absolutely. Brass is one of the best materials for outdoor signage. It is naturally resistant to corrosion, does not rust, and withstands rain, frost, and UV exposure without degrading. We supply the majority of our house numbers and name plaques for exterior use. The concealed fixings we provide are also stainless steel to prevent any galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals.
What finishes are available for signage?
We currently offer six finishes for signage: satin brass, antique brass, hammered satin, hammered antique, matte black, and matte white. Satin and antique brass are our most popular for residential work. Matte black is increasingly specified for modern commercial interiors. If you need a finish outside this range, get in touch and we will advise on what is possible.
Design & production
Can you reproduce our company logo in brass?
In most cases, yes. We can laser-cut logos, monograms, and custom graphics from solid brass provided we receive a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, or high-resolution PDF). Very fine details below 2mm may need slight adjustment to ensure structural integrity during cutting, but we will discuss this during the design proof stage. We have reproduced logos for retail brands, law firms, restaurants, and hotels.
What fonts can I choose from?
You can choose any font you like. If you have a specific typeface that matches your brand or home style, send it to us and we will set up the proof in that font. If you are not sure, we have a curated selection of fonts that work particularly well in brass at various sizes, and we are happy to recommend options based on your project brief. Serif, sans-serif, script, and display fonts all work well, though very thin hairline fonts may require minor adjustments.
How many design revisions are included?
Two rounds of revisions are included in every project at no extra cost. This covers adjustments to text, sizing, layout, font choice, and spacing. Additional revision rounds are available at a nominal fee. In practice, most clients approve after the first or second proof. We make a point of getting the first proof as close as possible to save everyone time.
What is the typical production lead time?
From design approval to dispatch, the typical lead time is two to three weeks. Simple projects like individual house numbers may ship sooner. Larger hospitality projects with multiple pieces may take three to four weeks. We will confirm the exact timeline in your quote. If you have a hard deadline, let us know in your brief and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Shipping & installation
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. UK delivery is tracked and typically arrives within two to three working days of dispatch. International shipping is available to most countries. For bespoke signage commissions, we will include shipping costs in your quote so there are no surprises.
How is the signage mounted?
We supply concealed stainless steel fixings with all signage. Each letter, number, or plaque comes with threaded studs on the reverse that slot into pre-drilled holes in your wall. We include a paper drilling template so you can position everything precisely before picking up the drill. The result is a clean installation with no visible screws or brackets. We also include detailed written instructions for both masonry and timber surfaces.
Do you offer installation services?
We do not offer direct installation, but our signage is designed for straightforward DIY fitting. The concealed fixing system and paper template make installation a fifteen-minute job for anyone comfortable with a drill. For larger commercial or hospitality projects, we can recommend specialist signage installers in your area, and we are happy to liaise with your contractor or builder directly to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Prefer to talk it through?
Whether you have a sketch on a napkin or a full architectural specification, we are happy to discuss your project by email or live chat.
