The ALMA Alabaster Wall Light is built around a hand-finished disc of natural Spanish alabaster, a translucent stone used in interior architecture since antiquity. Each piece is hollowed from the back so light passes cleanly through the stone, casting the alabaster’s mineral veining onto the wall in a soft, warm halo. No two stones are identical: the patterning runs from creamy-white to amber-streaked, all unique to the block it was cut from.
The base is iron with a satin brass electroplated finish, giving the fixture a warm, brushed metallic edge that frames the stone without competing with it. A frosted glass globe sits in the foreground, completing the composition.
Two light sources, one fixture
Behind the alabaster sits an integrated LED patch. This is the source that pushes warm light through the stone, creating the halo effect that defines the piece. In front, a G9 LED capsule lights the frosted glass globe, providing focused ambient illumination for the room. Both sources share the same colour temperature so the fixture reads as one cohesive piece of lighting, not two separate effects layered on top of each other.
Where it works
- Bedroom: flanking a bed as a bedside light, or framed alongside artwork.
- Hallway and corridor: placed every two to three metres for ambient lift, especially in narrow runs.
- Dining room and kitchen: paired symmetrically over a sideboard or behind seating.
- Living room: beside a sofa, or framing a fireplace.
- Hotel and project work: corridors, suites, restaurant booths.
Light quality
Choose from three colour temperatures so the fixture matches your room’s atmosphere. 3000K warm works for living and dining rooms where you want a soft, candle-like glow. 4500K natural suits kitchens, studies and offices where you want a clearer, brighter light. 6000K cool fits utility spaces and contemporary interiors where you want a clean, daylight-style illumination. The setting applies to both the LED patch and the G9 capsule simultaneously.
Installation
ALMA ships fully assembled. The G9 LED bulb is supplied with the fixture; the integrated LED patch is built into the back-plate. A qualified electrician will mount the iron back-plate to a wall-mounted electrical box and wire it to mains. The alabaster is delicate, so handle with care during installation.
