RAND Solid Brass Bar Handle

RAND is a plain bar handle that keeps its detail at the ends. The bar is a clean 14mm cylinder, and where it meets each post it steps out into a short collar, a small shoulder that catches the light and gives the handle its rim. Machined from solid brass, it carries real weight in the hand and reads the same from every angle.

Three lengths cover most of a kitchen. 130mm on 96mm centres suits drawers and narrow doors. 194mm on 160mm centres is the everyday size for cupboards and pan drawers. 258mm on 224mm centres takes tall units and wide drawer fronts. All three stand 36mm off the front on 8mm posts, so there is room for fingers without the handle crowding the door.

Three finishes

Satin Brass is warm and brushed. Antique Brass is darker and browner, and deepens further with use. Unlacquered Brass is bare metal with no coating, left to patina naturally with handling, so it changes with the room around it.

Where it works

• Kitchen drawers and doors: the 194mm is the size most cupboards want, with the 130mm on narrower fronts.
• Tall and larder units: the 258mm gives a full hand span on the doors you pull hardest.
• Bathroom vanities: a slim bar that sits close to the front and stays easy to wipe down.
• Bedroom furniture: chests, bedsides and wardrobes, mixing lengths across a single run.
• IKEA units: fits METOD, PAX and BESTÅ fronts on standard 96mm and 160mm centres.

Fitting

Each handle comes with two M4 x 25mm machine screws, fitted from the back of the front. The centres are standard, so it drops straight into most existing handle holes with no new drilling. Longer screws for thicker fronts are available on request.
